At Cheltenham Ladies’ College, we aim to provide a strong support network for every one of our pupils. Around 720 students will board with us in one of our 12 Sixth Form and Junior Boarding Houses and your role will be at the heart of our pastoral care as you join one of the dedicated, professional teams working under the direction of a Houseparent.

In addition to looking after our students’ wellbeing, you will help with the day-to-day running of the house. You may have experience in a similar role, but it is not essential. We are interested in those who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the development and welfare of young people, have common sense, a flexible attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.  Full training will be given.

College itself combines a rich heritage with an exciting future. Approximately 870 pupils from 40 countries across the world benefit from the knowledge and expertise gained over the last 169 years. Driven by innovation and challenge, we prepare our pupils to achieve their full potential in a complex and changing world.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Thursday 27 July 2023 (12.30pm).

Interviews will be held w/c 31 July 2023.

Applications will be considered as they are received, and College reserves the right to appoint at any time in the process.

We welcome female applicants only as this is a girls’ boarding school.  This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act.
