Job Description



The Alumni Relations Officer is the main point of contact for a wide variety of communications with various external constituents, including former pupils of St Leonards (known as ‘Seniors’). The post-holder will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the database of former pupils and other contacts (Raiser’s Edge), ensuring that all data on the Raiser’s Edge database is kept up to date, and all donations are accurately recorded.

The post-holder will also be responsible for planning and managing a series of engaging events for former pupils and others which will involve working occasional weekends and evenings. This post will report to the Director of Development and will work collaboratively with other colleagues as required. The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment and will be used to balancing competing demands and delivering results under pressure. The post- holder must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and a positive mind-set to be successful in this role.
