Queen’s College, Taunton is one of the leading independent boarding schools based in the South West of the country, educating more than 600 boys and girls (day and boarding), aged 3 months to 18 years, and is part of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust.

BOARDING HOUSEPARENT (Year 3 to 8)

Full-time, Term Time Only (including weekends)

We are looking to recruit a Houseparent for our Prep boarding house to start in September 2023.  The role is responsible for overseeing the day to day running and management of the boarding house as well as ensuring and promoting the well-being of pupils and staff in the boarding house. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of residential community life in a caring environment.  They will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be organised and flexible.  This position is open to teaching and non-teaching applicants, Teaching is desirable however, we will consider applicants who can offer a pupil-facing role within the wider school community.
