Elmhurst Ballet School, in Association with Birmingham Royal Ballet, is a world-renowned centre for the training and education of talented, passionate and committed young ballet dancers. The school was recently judged to be excellent in all areas by ISI and outstanding in all areas by OFSTED and has an international reputation for the quality of its work.

The majority of students board at the school and we offer fully equipped modern boarding houses for years 7 to 13. Lower School boarding is located on the School site and Upper School boarding is just a short walk away.

The school is seeking to recruit a full-time Houseparent to start January 2024.

The Houseparent will lead and manage a Boarding House supported by a Deputy Houseparent, working under the direction of a member of the pastoral middle leadership team.

Applicants should have proven leadership, excellent organisational skills and experience of working in a boarding environment.  We are looking for a highly motivated person who is calm and professional and is willing to be involved in all aspects of the school work. Applications from those offering skills that relate to the vocational dance environment and a holistic educational ethos are most welcome.
