The role of PA to the Bursar is a critical post within the School’s administrative structure. It is a busy and demanding post that requires a proactive, highly efficient and highly organised person. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to understand the importance of complete discretion in all aspects of the role.

Hours: This post is currently 35 hours per week all year round, however there is some flexibility for part-time/term-time working for the right candidate. A flexible approach will be required as there may be a requirement to work occasional evenings from time to time (approximately once per term) for which equivalent time off in lieu will be given.

The post-holder is entitled to 25 days paid annual leave per annum, in addition to statutory holidays. The May Day statutory holiday falls in term-time and is a normal working day, however a day off in lieu is given.

Salary: The salary for this role is circa £27,000 per annum based on the hours above (circa £30,000 FTE) with a pay award pending.
