Concorde International, an English Language School based in Canterbury, Kent, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced TEFL Teacher to join its dynamic team of language educators in our schools across Kent and Bath.
Job Summary:
As a TEFL Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective English language lessons to a diverse group of international students. You will work closely with other members of the teaching team to ensure the quality of teaching and learning at Concorde International is of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
● Plan and deliver high-quality English language lessons to students of all ages and levels.
● Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance.
● Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and techniques to engage and motivate students.
● Use a variety of resources and teaching aids to create a dynamic and stimulating learning environment.
● Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching team to ensure the smooth running of the school.
● Keep up to date with the latest developments in English language teaching and incorporate them into your lessons.
● Provide pastoral care and support to students as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
● A recognised EFL / TEFL teaching qualification such as RSA / Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent (Qualification must contain at least 100 hours of ELT/TESOL input, minimum 6 hours supervised teaching practice and must be externally validated by a reputable examination body) or PGCE in relevant subjects, BEd, QTS or overseas equivalent.
● Eligible to live and work in the UK (we cannot assist in any way with work permits or visas)
● University degree or overseas equivalent
● A passion for teaching and a commitment to the highest standards of professionalism.
● Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
● An awareness of the needs of international students and an ability to provide pastoral care and support.
● A willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and events.
