The School requires a Communications Technician

Salary: £25,000pa

30 days’ holiday per year (including bank holidays)

Lunch without charge in term time

New Hall Sport Club Membership (£20pa)

The Communications Technician assists with the planning and delivery of technical aspects of in-house performances and events.  They will help coordinate the set-up and operation of audio-visual equipment for a variety of performance settings including examinations, assessments, live performances, technical rehearsals and virtual performances.  This will include lighting & sound design; and technical operation of lighting & sound, including rigging and installation.

This post would suit a graduate, an individual starting a career in a technical role, or an experienced Technician. This is a newly created position and an exciting professional opportunity.

New Hall is committed to professional development of staff and will support further in-service training.  There are generous INSET and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) budgets.  The School may fully fund qualifications that are relevant to this role.
