Job Description

Ardingly College is seeking four highly motivated people to join the School for one year, from September 2023 or January 2024, working for one year until August 2024 or December 2024.  We would also welcome applications from those seeking work for one term only from September to December 2023. The role involves undertaking general duties in all parts of the College but predominantly in the Prep (Nursery – Year 6) and Lower School (Years 7 and 8) and particularly in assisting with the sports and boarding provision.

In this role, you will play an integral part of bringing life experience for our pupils to learn and benefit from, and to broaden their horizons. Hours of Work: Full time, for 36 weeks per year (term time plus two additional weeks), flexibility will be required including evening and weekend work. There is a requirement to work two additional weeks for Ardingly College Holiday Club. One week during October half term and one during the Easter holidays.

Salary: £10,868.70 (split equally over 12 months), inclusive of 4.1 weeks paid holiday.

Accommodation: Full accommodation will be available. There will be new accommodation for the Gap Assistants located in one of the Senior School Day houses with its own separate entrance, bathroom facilities and kitchenette.
