This is a high profile and key position within the The Royal School. The Head of Boarding will deliver an excellent experience for all boarders, whilst supporting the holistic nature of a boarding education. They will ensure that the environment is caring, safe and responsive to boarders’ needs and welfare.

Delivering the strategic direction for Boarding, and develop the provision – currently a full-time, flexi and weekly boarding being offered – setting a clear culture and identity for boarding at the school. The postholder needs to be committed to developing and expanding the boarding offering; this aspect will form a key part of this position.

This is a unique opportunity to develop and grow boarding provision at the school in line with the whole school vision and development plan, under the leadership of the new Headmaster. It will suit a candidate who has boundless amounts of energy, a clear vision for improvement, positivity and creativity, and who believes in a philosophy of continuous improvement.
