New Hall School requires, from September 2023, a Housemaster/mistress (Years 3-11, Boys)

Salary range: £46,478pa-£54,618pa

The job title at New Hall for this role is Head of Boarding (Petre House).  This is an exciting professional opportunity to take up a key leadership and management role in the largest Catholic boarding & day school in the UK.  The Head of Boarding (HoB) will have responsibility for over 100 boarders (approximately 60 full, weekly boarders and up to 50 flexi-boarders) in Years 3-11, supported by an experienced and able team of Assistant Heads of Boarding and Boarding Assistants.  The HoB will give outstanding leadership to the House team.  The HoB is expected to understand and to support the Catholic ethos of the School.

The successful candidate will have boarding experience, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to boys in Years 3-11.  This is a residential post and rent-free accommodation is provided, attached to the Boarding House.  The post is available to non-teaching or teaching applicants.
