St Joseph’s College is recruiting Residential House Parents who will help us make our two boarding houses a ‘home from home’, a supportive family environment which will help our fantastic young people to thrive. Located in Ipswich we have two busy boarding houses made up of students from the UK and across the world. The happiness and welfare of each and every one of our boarders is the most important thing to us. We are therefore looking for dedicated, talented and caring individuals who want to embrace all that working in a boarding house in a successful independent school has to offer.
Ideally you will have had previous experience supporting with working with young people and Boarding, but above all, we are looking for individuals who we can entrust with overseeing the safety, good discipline and pastoral wellbeing of our boarders. You will also have good organisational skills with the ability to support the admin that goes alongside a busy boarding house.
As this is a residential role, rent-free accommodation is provided with all council tax, utilities and meals during term time included. The salary range will be from £30,000 per year.
The position(s) are required from the beginning of January 2024 or earlier if possible.
